Cattolica, the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore is the largest private university in Italy and in Europe. It is a prestigious comprehensive research and teaching university, recently ranked number 11 across Italy's 90 universities.

Admission and application:

  • current enrollment at an institution of higher education
  • good academic standing
  • grade Point Average of 3.00 or higher, or equivalent
  • completion of a minimum of 2 terms at undergraduate level
  • english proficiency: if non-native speaker, applicants need to submit a min. TOEFL score of 80 iBT or an IELTS score of 6
  • applicants for UCSC coursework in Italian must provide an Italian Language Proficiency Report

Tuition fee

  • 4 courses comprising of 12 US credits plus 90 contact hour language pre-session and semester course, orientation, field trips – location varies per semester – and a welcome dinner.
  • NON E.U. residents: € 5,500
  • E.U. residents: € 4,500
