SMUN aims to simulate the work of UN bodies and to, by doing that, educate and prepare young students from all over the world regardless of their current studies for service in diplomacy and to promote and share values of informal education and the importance of understanding decision making process used by UN.


SMUN is an MUN (Model United Nations) conference organized by NGOs Student’s club of Faculty of Political Science Banja Luka, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in partnership with Center for Studies of National Development from Belgrade, Serbia and Center for Democratic Initiatives, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The main goal of the conference is the encouragement of networking within the future decision makers. Conference will take place in Banja Luka, and it will last from 22th till 25th of the October this year.

SMUN will simulate the work of International Court of Justice, UN Security Council, Human Rights Council and Press Committee.
