Exploring European galaxies of partnership to enhance youth employment and entrepreneurship in sport.
All around Europe, countries are worried when it comes to youth employability. Combating youth unemployment should be a top priority to securing a positive future for young people.
One contribution is provided by a group of sport- and socio-cultural organizations. With the support of the Youth in Action Programme of the European Union, they present a European wide initiatives that promotes youth-employment in and through the sport sector and highlights the transferable skills that sport can develop. The project foresees several actions to raise awareness on opportunities of employment for young people across Europe:
- Questionnaire on skills acquired in sports (klick here to participate),
- Seminar “Sport Employs YOUrope – Recognise non formal education in sport to fight youth unemployment” in Rome/Italy, 1st to 5th of October 2014 (Fill in the Aplication Form below),
- National youth-led campaigns on non-formal education in sports as a tool to fight youth employment,10th October 2014 to 31st of January 2015,
- Tool kit to support national project actions.
Costs for seminar in Roma/Italy
The accommodation, food and working material costs are fully covered. Travel costs are covered 70% of total amount of costs per participant. There is no fee for this training course.
